Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, met with a high-level delegation from the "Chinese Publishers Group" at Al-Zaafran Palace. The delegation included Wang Tao, Managing Director of the Chinese Publishers Group, Yudian Lee, Executive Director and Legal Delegate, Zhou Xipi, Investment and Savings Manager, Ye Ying Vice President, Sun Moo "Head of International Cooperation and Distribution Division Director, Van Wei, President of the Chinese Business Translation and Publishing Center, and Liuodu Xiang Tao, Head of Foreign Affairs Department. Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed, Director of the Office of International Relations at the University, stated this.

Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed added that the visit of the delegation comes within the framework of strengthening cultural relations between the two sides and pushing them to a better stage, in light of activating the initiative of the belt and road, which joined the university during the last year, to be the University of Ain Shams, the first Arab university to join the Academic Publishing Association on the Silk Road. She stressed the keenness of the Chinese side to cooperate with Ain Shams University in all fields of publishing, translation, information banks, cultural exchanges and others, in view of the university's reputation for good academic and success in achieving advanced positions in various international classifications.

The delegation, during an inspection tour, at Al-Zaffran Palace, expressed its happiness with the visit because Ain Shams University has authentic historical roots that converge with its acquired academic and research ideas.

The Chinese Publishers Group is China's most influential commercial and professional publishing group, and since 2008 has been listed as China's Top 30 Cultural Foundation for 10 consecutive years.
